Here are some answers on the most commonly asked questions about the NDIS.

  • Can I start planning before my meeting with the NDIS?

Yes definitely, we encourage you to do that. Complete Connect can also assist you to pre-plan. We can support you understand the NDIS, talk to you about your eligibility, identify goals and apply.

  • Does Complete Connect have NDIS experience?

Yes, Complete Connect team has been involved since the rollout of the scheme in NSW and have been involved ever since.

  • Who will manage the funds in my plan?
There are three ways to manage the funds in your NDIS plan.
  • NDIA Managed
This is where the NDIA manages the funds in your plan.
  • Plan Managed
This is where you hire a Plan manager who will manage the funds in your plan. They will have the responsibility to pay your NDIS related bills on your behalf.
  • Self-Managed
This is where you manage the funds in your plan by using the Participant portal to pay bills related to your plan.

You don’t have to choose only one of these options. You can use whatever option that suits the goals in the plan.

  • Can I have my family during the planning process and the NDIS meeting?

Yes, you can invite family member during this process and every step of the way.

  • What if I am not happy with my service provider, Can I change?
Yes, you can. If you are not satisfied with the services you are receiving, you can change to ensure you are receiving the services you want.
